Refined Style and Graceful Lines for Casa Farnesina

The Taormina series of taps by Ritmonio in gold finish, was chosen by Arch. Giorgia Dennerlein, of Loto AD Project, to embellish the interior of her latest creation, a magnificent residence in the Farnesina district in Rome, conceived as a luxury "pied dans l'eau".

The intervention reflects the rigor and fluidity of Arch. Dennerlein stylistic signature: the challenge was to shape a “raw fabric”, responding to the wishes of the owner, an entrepreneur with a great passion for boating.

Taormina is the detail that attests Dennerlein's great attention to quality materials and finishes that create a new balance between form and functionality: the series revisits classic elements in a contemporary key, with graceful lines. With a clear inspiration from the Sicilian seaside resort envied all over the world for its charm and beauty, Taormina enhances the style of the project and embodies the true expression of Ritmonio Made in Italy.

The body of the mixer recalls the shape of the characteristic columns of the Ancient Theatre of Taormina and its gentle lines refer to the sinuous inlets and waves of the Mediterranean Sea. The poolside tap set, with its refined design, allows a 360 ° wellness experience.

A multifaceted and versatile solution, in line with the taste of the owners, respectful of history in modernity, suitable for those looking for a style with a contemporary appeal that lasts over time. In addition, the series is part of the water-saving Ritmonio products, characterized by the ECO water flow rate, less than 9 l / m, to raise awareness of a responsible use of environmental resources.

Continuous and circular lines, transparencies and natural light constitute the design philosophy of the entire house, and make it harmonious and sophisticated. This "shell" soul is also reflected in the ceilings, carved and embellished with silver leaf to reflect the light and emphasize the roundness of the whole project. The living area is characterized by the presence of large glass walls, which favour the transition with the adjacent terrace, for an osmotic conception indoor-outdoor.

The wallpaper warm texture refers to the horizon line of the sea and recalls the streak of shells. The flooring is uniform in all rooms: a beige travertine, which runs through the entire apartment, as a skin. Underfloor heating and the home automation system are just two of the many technological features that improve the performance and comfort of the residence.

All the interior accessories have been designed and handcrafted, thanks to a high level of carpentry work: from the furniture to the wardrobes, up to the kitchen and doors, some of which are in glass and retractable, conceived as connecting "diaphragms" between the rooms.

Inspired by the small spaces of a boat, Arch. Dennerlein has created large pills and cabinets that act as wings to separate functions and environments.

The attention to details and quality and the choice of tailored elements also continues in the bathroom, where the finishes are of absolute value: the dark grey stone embraces the tub, decorated with a Greek motif cut into owl nails.
