In early 1974, SKM commissioned pilot production of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment using British and American product designs and technology.

As part of SKM's policy of continuous product development, we completed an ambitious factory expansion program in 1984, and entered into a Licensing and Technical Agreement to manufacture most Standard Packaged and Ducted Split air conditioning units.

Today, SKM Air Conditioning equipment is totally indigenously designed, engineered and built at SKM Sharjah. We take pride in the continuous excellent performance of our units in the highly corrosive Gulf environments, and in other specific applications such as On Shore and Off Shore Oil Installations, Sewage Treatment Plants and Ammunition Depots etc.
