The world’s most exciting lighting show is coming to Abu Dhabi
The first LuxLive Middle East conference & exhibition to take place in Abu Dhabi, UAE from 13-14 April 2016, will provide a showcase for independent lighting design talent. Organisers are working with both international and regional lighting design practices and top designers to bring their expertise and experience to the event and match their skills with developers and clients in the leisure, hospitality and residential sectors.
Top lighting designers will give keynote presentations and take part in debates in two custom-built arenas at the show – Lux Arena and Lightspace Arena. Additionally, practices will exhibit their milestone projects in a special Gallery of Wonders.
Designers will also be on hand to offer lighting advice and guidance, and explain how they work and the benefits they can bring to a project. ’We’re keen that as well as bringing innovations to the show that we also bring in the talented people who can create great spaces with the technologies,’ says LuxLive content director Ray Molony.
Designers already announced as participating include Sally Storey of Lighting Design International, Paul Nulty of Nulty+, Abdulaziz Al Azem of Design Tech Services, Paul Miles of Light Touch and Michael Grubb of Michael Grubb Studio.
LuxLive Middle East follows on from the massive success of LuxLive in the UK where over the past 5 years, the show has quickly established award winning success as a leading industry platform and the largest annual lighting event in Europe.
From energy-saving controls to dramatic architectural light fittings, LuxLive Middle East 2016 will present 80 panel discussions and presentations and showcase over 70 of the world’s leading lighting brands including Opple Lighting, iGuzzini, Trilux, Ruud Lighting. Running alongside CityScape Abu Dhabi, the show is set to be the most talked about lighting event ever staged in the region as in excess of 3,000 key decision makers convene from across the Middle East region.
