The Kingdom’s most popular international building and construction show kicked off attracting thousands of professionals on its opening day

Monday, March 27, 2017 — Zeyad Bin Bassam Mohammed Al Bassam Vice Chairman of Jeddah Chamber of Commerce opened Saudi Arabia’s largest construction show today. The 7th edition of The Big 5 Saudi is taking place at the Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events and will run until the 30th of March.

Attracting thousands of visitors, the show hosts more than 500 exhibitors from 20+ countries, including country pavilions from Italy, Turkey, Germany, Greece, China, Qatar, Kuwait, Spain, Hungary, and India. Beyond boosting business and networking opportunities, The Big 5 Saudi showcases over 600 brands this year, providing access to the latest and most innovative solutions for the built environment.

Some of the region’s most prominent industry experts will deliver 48 CPD (Continuous Professional Development) certified workshops across the four days of the event. Visitors attending The Big 5 Saudi have the opportunity to attend for free this year’s broad educational offer, focusing on some of the industry’s most compelling topics: Project Management, Innovation & Technology, and Sustainability.“Overcoming the project management challenges in the Middle East”, and “Construction Essentials: Maintain a Positive Cash Flow and Prepare for Disputes” are just some of the compelling workshops taking place on the second day of the event, March 28.

Advancing knowledge for an ever-growing sector, The Big 5 Saudi 2017 is an unmissable platform for regional and international industry and decision-makers to source new products, learn, do business and connect. “It’s exciting to be back in Saudi again. The Big 5 Saudi 2017 runs until March 30 at the Jeddah Forum for Conference and Events, and stays open till 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM daily and 1:00 PM to 07:00 PM on the March 30.

In 2016, The Big Saudi welcomed an impressive 14,985 unique visitors, bringing together over 21,138 participants from 34 countries, with 3,000+ products on display.
