The building envelope is getting a more and more important role in the architectural field and in defining new expressive dynamics and styles.
Thanks to the building envelope the best performances of the building itself in terms of energy saving, climate and light comfort are guaranteed. The perceptive dimensions and the building volume in relation to the context are best enhanced.
The company Giuliani is specialized in the production of technologically modern continuous building facades in aluminium, solar shades and special metallic or glass structures as building envelopes or panellings.
The company works 360° in the design, production, building site logistics and laying of these structures.
The architectural concept and the planning requests are then fulfilled with the installation of customizable systems with high performances according to the designers’ needs. The load-bearing structures are always verified and statically dimensioned according to the enforced legislation and according to the needed requirements in relation to the kind of structure, the building height and the site on which the structure is going to be built. Our systems are certified and by request certifiable by institutes recognized within the whole European community.
Uprights and crossbars facades
Continuous uprights and crossbars facades can be realized with or without external visible aluminium.
The profiles can be built in different dimensions according to the static needs that the enforced norms require and the shapes are customizable according to the aesthetic and planning requests.
Some facades can also be designed employing wooden grids, creating aluminium-wooden facades. Claddings can be realized with several wall surfaces such as glass, stone, Alucobond, aluminium, Cor-ten and HPL panels.
Glass surfaces can be built employing several glass varieties: security, selective, low-emission, solar control, reflective, acoustic, glass-lined, photovoltaic, marble-glass. As far as stone is concerned (marble, gres…) rainscreen cladding with hidden or visible fasteners can be built. Within the facade grids there is the possibility to insert several kinds of openings: casement, prominent or pantograph openings.
Openings’ profiles can be visible or hidden. Our facades are certified by several institutes recognized within the whole European Community.
Modular curtain walls and rainscreen cladding
Giuliani produces envelopes with technologically modern cladding systems, such as modular curtain walls, rainscreen claddings, claddings with point fix connectors and special claddings with technical solutions and more and more innovative materials.

Complementary elements
Big interventions are sometimes characterized by technological elements different from continuous facades or rainscreen cladding, which enrich the aspect of the whole building. Metallic or glass woodcraft coverings, shades and brise soleils or bulwarks realized with innovative materials and solutions are just few instances. Giuliani will analyze the context in which these elements will be fixed and carries out the technical and productive design of them, with an excellent care for details.
