Oriental Trading Company (OTC) was established in 1957 by a group of prominent Qatari businessmen. Petroserv Limited acquired its shares in 1987 and formed a new combined trading division which then continued to diversify and expand to meet the market requirements. In 1997, Qatar Industrial Services (QIS) acquired Petroserv Group Companies and since then, OTC has made significant investments in new premises, improving customer facilities, increasing manpower, diversifying product range and raising stock levels. OTC has access to its Group Company's engineering, fabrication and maintenance services which are available to supplement customer requirements.
