Ducab presented their range of OGP products at ADIPEC

Ducab, one of the leading suppliers of copper cable products in the Middle East, showcased its Oil Gas and Petrochemical products at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC), the largest event for the industry in the Middle East.
ADIPEC was held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from November 11th to 14th 2012.Ducab OGP’s projects range from upstream clients such as oil and gas production facilities to large midstream projects involving pipelines and infrastructure, as well as downstream concerns such as fertilizer and refinery concerns. It also supplies brownfield projects.
“The Oil and Gas sector is a very important market for Ducab, and ADIPEC offers us the ideal opportunity to showcase our products and explore business opportunities with both upstream and downstream clients. Ducab’s OGP division has been growing rapidly in recent years, and look forward to continuing that momentum,” said Colin McKay, Ducab’s GM for Marketing and Sales.
In 2011, the company recorded 250% increase in sales to the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical sector, and won important contracts in the field, such as an AED 213 million win for work on the Abu Dhabi Oil Refining Company’s (Takreer) Ruwais Refinery expansion. 2012 is continuing this upward trajectory, and Ducab’s OGP division continues to perform strongly.
Products on display included the entire range of low voltage, medium voltage and high voltage cables complemented by the instrumentation and pilot cables. Widely used across OGP industries, Ducab’s cables are manufactured to BS and IEC standards.
“As the premier show in the sector, ADIPEC offers a valuable opportunity to generate business leads. We are pleased at our participation, and are actively looking to convert some of the leads we generated over 4 days into concrete business propositions,” McKay concluded.
