It was essential for Kainji Hydro-Power Station to have a reliable source of power in order to act as a backup for any power outage that could occur in the station which is the only power station feeder for Niger state and its neighboring states. Without any doubt, the reputation of Perkins, Leroy Somer and Jubaili Bros were behind landing the contract in their hands.
To meet the requirements of the project, Jubaili Bros had to supply a 1250 KVA Soundproof unit (4012-46TWG2A), with 11 KV alternator output. This generator has the ability to synchronize with the power station, and serve as a backup power to this vital project.
This generating set has the ability to be load tested on a separate dummy load, and be controlled from a distance of 200 meters. In addition, it can be monitored from the station control room, or via the internet.
This project involved Jubaili Bros Engineering Ltd utilizing a professional technical expertise from local and international sources to deliver a reliable and quality product to its valued customer.
