Composition:

• toroid, banded base realized in EN-GJS-500-7 cast iron according to UNI EN 1563 standard (lower diameter mm 520, upper diameter mm 500, height mm 80); the base has four arched openings (mm85x40h) to prevent the stagnation of rainwater or any other liquid;
• tapered drum (lower diameter mm 490, upper diameter mm 465, height mm 1150) in EN-GJS-500-7 cast iron according to UNI EN 1563 standard with top cover fitted to the drum with bolts, hatch door in ENGJS- 500-7 cast iron, hinged at the upper (cap) and lower (base) sections with two hidden hinge pins. The hatch contains and supports the inner bin (thanks to a bolt in the upper part and an arched support in the lower) so allowing quick and easy removal the drum and hatch door exterior surfaces are strengthened and decorated by vertical anti-snag ribbing and a lock to guarantee that only those employed to do so, may open it;
• top cover is made up of a cap in the shape of a segment of hemisphere and a tapered body which inclines in the opposite direction to that of the drum; four side openings for the introduction of rubbish; on the top of the cover is placed a hock for mechanical removal;
• internal cylindrical bin in galvanized steel Fe 360B (diameter mm 360, height mm 620) with two handle openings (mm 120x60h) with rounded edges and cut resistant rubber trimming;
• name plate in galvanized steel positioned on the bin (mm 169x148h) for the name or Coat of Arms of the city (on request and for minimum 100 pieces).

Finish:

the cast iron components undergo a treatment of sandblasting, dipping in water soluble zinc phosphate primer, spray painted using the same zinc phosphate primer, epoxy powder coated and kiln enamelled in cast iron grey (min. thickness 200 micron) minimum guarantee 2000 hours in salt spray chambers;
